The staff is very friendly and professional. They make going to the dentist as pleasant as possible. My appointment today was much longer than planned. There were some problems with equipment used in my implant procedure. At all times the dentist and the staff remained focused and patient as they worked through the problems encountered. There was a good outcome.

Everyone there is amazing to be around, knows what they’re doing, and works together so cohesively; it’s like a well-oiled machine. I’ve been a pt. of both of the dentists there and I have nothing negative to say. I even had to bring one of my children once because my babysitter fell through. They took it in stride and weren’t bothered at all. I will only stop attending McConnell Dental if I move.

TL;DR: Dr. McConnell and his team do great work at making you feel safe, informed, and confident! I would happily recommend him to friends and family. This was my second time at the McConnell office, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I went in feeling anxious about some tooth sensitivity thinking it was something bigger than it was. Jessie at the front desk was so helpful in getting me in as soon as possible and working with my schedule for future appointments- she never seemed bothered when I asked for more help. Grace walked me through every step of the x-rays and made me feel comfortable even when it’s a pretty uncomfy procedure. Dr. McConnell came in to go through the x-rays and was detailed with the explanations, gave me his undivided attention, wasn’t in a rush, made me feel comfortable in his office, and left me feeling informed and empowered in my teeth knowledge! The guy has a sense of humor, and didn’t make me feel silly for asking plenty of questions. I had been going to another popular dentist in Tooele county for years, but making the switch to a different clinic was the best thing I’ve done for me and my teeth 😇 Dr. McConnell is someone I’m willing to drive 40 minutes to see since I live in SLC now.

Amazed that we have such a competent, caring, professional crew here in our small community. I’ve seen both Dr James McConnell and Dr Jamie McConnell, and I would easily recommend them to even the most particular patient. Our daughter was a patient at Primary Children’s hospital during her entire childhood. Dr James McConnell filled in all of the gaps for me in her dental care. Most of the time I found myself somewhat confused as I tried to map out my daughters craniofacial surgery schedule and post operative care. When I couldn’t get the information I needed from our surgical team at primary’s, Dr. McConnell was my go to. On more than one occasion I was praised for proactive/preventative care that eased my daughter’s pain in her journey of 16 childhood surgeries. In almost every instance that praise came because of something Dr McConnell helped us with. This incredible father/son team is a gift to Tooele County. Brilliant, kind and totally committed to their patients. Perfect choice for our family’s dental care!

We just moved to the area and we are pleased with how welcoming and supportive this practice is. I was able to set up an appointment for my husband, daughter and myself all around the same time so we could be seen together. They were so supportive of my husband’s anxiety around dental work and my daughter’s first trip to the dentist was not at all what I expected. She didn’t cry or seem scared and they were so accommodating. The dentist explained everything hi by to her and she got to watch a movie while they cleaned her teeth. This is a great place and will be our family’s dentist from now on!

This was a walk-in after an assaul. X-rays were taken and an exam done. The front desk staff was so supportive and kind. She helped get insurance info so the upfront cost was not too high. Both Doctors did a check-up and collaborated. I had full faith and trusted the opinion of both doctors independently, but I felt at ease that they were both willing to take a moment and look.We left informed, for the short & long term, with next steps and referrals. An amazing experience with well informed doctors and a team that works seamlessly.

I recently had a chipped tooth repaired. The doctor did an amazing job! He matched the color of the tooth perfectly, which was important to me since the tooth can be seen easily in the front of my mouth. He also made sure that it felt absolutely perfect and normal before I left! I'm very happy with the outcome!

The staff was exceptionally nice and competent. They answered all my questions and treated me so well! I have some "Dentist Anxiety"...and I felt very comfortable with the Doctor and staff. Amazed that we have such a competent, caring, professional crew here in our small community. I’ve seen both Dr James McConnell and Dr Jamie McConnell, and I would easily recommend them to even the most particular patient. Our daughter was a patient at Primary Children’s hospital during her entire childhood. Dr James McConnell filled in all of the gaps for me in her dental care. Most of the time I found myself somewhat confused as I tried to map out my daughters craniofacial surgery schedule and post operative care. When I couldn’t get the information I needed from our surgical team at primary’s, Dr. McConnell was my go to. On more than one occasion I was praised for proactive/preventative care that eased my daughter’s pain in her journey of 16 childhood surgeries. In almost every instance that praise came because of something Dr McConnell helped us with. This incredible father/son team is a gift to Tooele County. Brilliant, kind and totally committed to their patients. Perfect choice for our family’s dental care!

We just moved to the area and we are pleased with how welcoming and supportive this practice is. I was able to set up an appointment for my husband, daughter and myself all around the same time so we could be seen together. They were so supportive of my husband’s anxiety around dental work and my daughter’s first trip to the dentist was not at all what I expected. She didn’t cry or seem scared and they were so accommodating. The dentist explained everything hi by to her and she got to watch a movie while they cleaned her teeth. This is a great place and will be our family’s dentist from now on!

This was a walk-in after an assaul. X-rays were taken and an exam done. The front desk staff was so supportive and kind. She helped get insurance info so the upfront cost was not too high. Both Doctors did a check-up and collaborated. I had full faith and trusted the opinion of both doctors independently, but I felt at ease that they were both willing to take a moment and look.We left informed, for the short & long term, with next steps and referrals. An amazing experience with well informed doctors and a team that works seamlessly.

I recently had a chipped tooth repaired. The doctor did an amazing job! He matched the color of the tooth perfectly, which was important to me since the tooth can be seen easily in the front of my mouth. He also made sure that it felt absolutely perfect and normal before I left! I'm very happy with the outcome!
I had a very pleasant experience with McConnell Dental Care. I needed a new Dentist and they were close to home, so I decided to try them. I'm very happy that I chose them! The staff was exceptionally nice and competent. They answered all my questions and treated me so well! I have some "Dentist Anxiety"...and I felt very comfortable with the Doctor and staff. I love Dr. McConnell office! They are always available to answer questions and squeeze you in. My son enjoys going to the dentist because the talk with him and make sure he understands what they are doing. Becca is a God sent! She always answers the phone and return phone calls immediately.
